The Seven Days

  • Senin (Monday) -- Arabic "Ithnayn" (second)
  • Selasa (Tuesday) -- Arabic "Thulatha" (third)
  • Rabu (Wednesday) -- Arabic "Arba'a" (fourth)
  • Kamis (Thursday) -- Arabic "Khamis" (fifth)
  • Jumat (Friday) -- Arabic "Jumu'ah" (gathering)
  • Sabtu (Saturday) -- Hebrew "Shabbat" via Arabic
  • Minggu (Sunday) -- Portuguese "Domingo"

Friday: The Most Important Day

Offices close or shorten hours between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM for Friday prayers.
