Your 30-Day Indonesian Challenge: From Zero to Real Conversations

You need 30 days, 15-20 minutes a day.

Week 1: The Foundation (Days 1-7)

  • Day 1-2: Greetings -- Selamat Pagi/Siang/Sore/Malam, Apa kabar?
  • Day 3-4: Polite essentials -- Terima kasih, Tolong, Maaf, Permisi
  • Day 5-6: Introductions -- Nama saya, Saya dari, Saya sedang belajar
  • Day 7: Review -- Run a full mock conversation

Week 2: Numbers & Food (Days 8-14)

  • Day 8-9: Numbers 1-10
  • Day 10-11: Market phrases -- Berapa harganya?, Terlalu mahal
  • Day 12-13: Food -- Nasi goreng, Pedas/Tidak pedas
  • Day 14: Order at a real Indonesian restaurant

Week 3: Navigation & Time (Days 15-21)

  • Day 15-16: Directions -- Di mana?, Kiri/Kanan, Lurus
  • Day 17-18: Time & Days -- Jam berapa?, Days of the week
  • Day 19-20: Family -- Ibu/Bapak, Kakak/Adik, Teman
  • Day 21: Give directions, describe family, make plans

Week 4: Real Life (Days 22-30)

  • Day 22-23: Feelings -- Senang, Sedih, Capek, Panas
  • Day 24-25: Emergencies -- Tolong!, Saya sakit, Rumah sakit
  • Day 26-27: Hotel -- Check-in, Ada WiFi?, Bisa tolong?
  • Day 28-29: Full conversation practice
  • Day 30: Have a REAL conversation with an Indonesian speaker

The Rules

  1. 15-20 minutes minimum per day
  2. Say everything out loud
  3. Don't fear mistakes
  4. Use it immediately
